"Cannot fault the driver, I booked this on behalf of an employees who was travelling from an appointment at the US consulate in Belfast back to the airport. The employee was held up by over half an hour at the consulate and the driver waited for him for this period, which was the only reason he ended up making his flight. In addition to this, I had phoned to add a 'via' to the trip, but was never sent a payment link for this (I imagine because of how last minute this was), so the driver was not made aware of this in advance, but he was still kind enough to stop at the hotel so the employee could collect his bags. Best service I have used."

"I want to be clear that I give no blame to the driver for the lateness of the pick up. The driver for the return leg was changed at some point during the day and it was clear that the new driver had been given no instructions as to where we had agreed with the initial driver to be collected. As a result we waited for half an hour in the rain. Completely unacceptable given how much we paid."

"One of the first things the driver asked us was whether we could leave the golf earlier for the return journey as he had another job around the same time. He also dropped us at a park and ride further away from the course despite us hearing from a conversation he had on the phone with another driver that he would be able to access one of the closer car parks. The return journey was subsequently passed onto another driver who hadn't been given clear instructions on where to collect us from, despite us clearly agreeing these with the driver who dropped us. We ended up waiting half an hour in the rain which isn't really acceptable given the money spent. In summary, the driver for this leg was on time, car was clean and he had waters for us. He did however give the impression that the logistics of taking us to Portrush were an inconvenience and whatever happened in the changeover to a different driver for the return leg was unacceptable in not leaving clear instructions. Whether that is on him or the company I can only leave for you to decide"

"My journey was cancelled due to cancellation of my onward flights. I had to return early through a different airport. I cancelled the return journey by telephone, to the number listed on your booking email, on July 24. I asked for a refund but the operator informed me that there was no chance of a refund. I debated with him about this and he insisted it was in the terms and conditions. I said that surely informing in advance was better than not cancelling at all and leaving the driver waiting at the airport. He continued insisting that a refund would not be forthcoming. I informed him that I would not be using TaxiCode again. Despite this cancellation by phone, the operator DID NOT INFORM THE DRIVER ABOUT THE CANCELLATION. As a result, the driver turned up at the airport at the previously booked time on July 25 and waited two and a half hours at the airport. I did not receive his message until the following morning, as I had gone to bed early. This is a SHOCKING state of affairs. Because of the laxity of your operator, the poor taxi driver made a useless trip to the airport and wasted several hours of his time. I am absolutely disgusted with TaxiCode and now will DOUBLY never use your company again. I had to ring the driver to apologize for your shocking ineptitude, allowing him to go to the airport when I had already cancelled. Such a very poor service from TaxiCode. The drivers were excellent, but TaxiCode, as the booking company was poor."
